Directions to the Ranch

from Saskatoon

The total travel time is approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes, so give yourself 3 hours for a little buffer.

Go past Debden SK, stay on highway 55 Northbound for 25km (15.5mi).
Turn right onto Park Valley Road (do not turn at the Park Valley Road at Debden).
Take Park Valley Road east for 14.3kms (9mi) and turn left at the intersection (lake four cemetery is on the right side of the road).
Drive 1.6km (1mi) and turn right at the T intersection.
Drive 1km (.5mi) and take your first left.
- The Sturgeon River Ranch sign is in the ditch on the right hand side.
Drive 3km (2mi) and turn right at the T intersection where the Sturgeon River Ranch sign is.
- This is our 2.5km driveway!

Head southeast on SK-55 E toward Debden for 5km (3.1mi).
Turn left on Township Rd 554 and follow the road on 23.8km (14.7mi).
Turn right after 10km then left after another 1.8km.
After another 7km, turn right and then left at the end of the line.
At the T intersection keep going straight
- The Sturgeon River Ranch sign should be on your left.
- This is our 2.5 km driveway!

44km south of Waskesiu on hwy 263 to the south park gate.
Turn right onto Cookson Road.
After around 17kms the road turns to pavement as you leave the park onto hwy 240.
Drive 9 kms on hwy 240 and turn right onto Sugar Hill Road.
Continue on Sugar Hill Road for 6 kms and turn Right at the Parks Canada sign (Beaver sign).
Drive approximately 7kms and follow the Parks Canada sign to the left at the fork in the road (after fish lake).
Drive 4 kms and turn right at Parks Canada sign.
Carry on for 8 kms and turn left at the Parks Canada sign.
Drive 8 kms again and turn right at the Parks Canada sign.
Drive for 8 more kms and follow the speed curve (don't go straight).
Continue on this for 11 kms to a T intersection and then turn right.
Within 1 km you will see the Sturgeon River Ranch on the right hand side, turn left down a small gravel road.
Drive 4 kms to a T intersection and turn right at the next Sturgeon River Ranch sign.

Get on Highway 263 West towards Waskesiu.
Drive 13Km on Highway 263 and turn left on Highway 240.
Drive 9 kms on hwy 240 and turn right onto Sugar Hill Road.
Continue on Sugar Hill Road for 6 kms and turn Right at the Parks Canada sign (Beaver sign).
Drive approximately 7kms and follow the Parks Canada sign to the left at the fork in the road (after fish lake).
Drive 4 kms and turn right at Parks Canada sign.
Carry on for 8 kms and turn left at the Parks Canada sign.
Drive 8 kms again and turn right at the Parks Canada sign.
Drive for 8 more kms and follow the speed curve (don't go straight).
