Sturgeon River Ranch - Full Adventure Details

Summer Adventures

Horseback Bison Tours

Ride out from the ranch in the beautiful Sturgeon River Valley, into the wild west side of the PA National Park, home of Canada's only free ranging herd of Plains Bison, living in their historic habitat. And hopefully we’ll get to see some! Pack a snack in your saddle bag and enjoy it at the halfway point, as we pause for a quick break, and to fully embrace the natural splendor of northern Saskatchewan. Then we’ll ride back along the valley view trail overlooking Stoney Plain Meadows and Valley View Meadows.

We ride year-round, rain or shine. The trails around the ranch are beautiful whatever the season.

With over a million acres to explore there is a different trail for every day of the week. And if you’re interested in a multi-day adventure, let us know in advance of your stay with us, and we can add an extra day or more of riding.

Ride length is approximately 3 hours.
